Inverness Community Chest Drive
The 2008 goal is $8,500.00 and letters were mailed to every po box and rural route address in Inverness along with area businesses. The charities that receive donations annually are: March of Dimes, Salvation Army, St Jude’s Hospital, Sunflower County Heart Assn, Sunflower County Cancer Society, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, & The Inverness Community House. We ask that everyone consider a generous donation to help others out. Donations can be mailed to Inverness Community Chest PO Box 13 Inverness, MS 38753.
2009 Community Birthday Calendars
2009 Community Birthday Calendars orders are being taken from now until Sept 19th. Order forms were mailed to every po box holder and rural route holder plus area businesses. Calendars are $10.00 each with 5 listings of birthdays, anniversaries, in memory, or military honor with additional listings costing $1.00 each. Businesses can purchase an advertisement (send in ad information with fee) for only $35.00 and receive a free calendar w/ 5 listings.
